Shoppe Foreman Publishing is owned and operated by Larry Foreman of Guthrie, Oklahoma. Larry had a full career as a wildlife biologist. Much of this career was spent in writing and editing reports, articles, and other technical documents. For many decades, he has been an avid reader of history books. Larry has been a family historian for more than 30 years. In recent years, he has become involved in "creative" writing and is a founding member of the Red Dirt Writers Society. Larry has studied book publishing to publish his own books and to help friends publish theirs. He founded Shoppe Foreman Publishing to help others get their family histories, memoirs, and biographies into print as cheaply and quickly as possible while maintaining a high quality. Shoppe Foreman Publishing uses a printer that has very low pricing. We pass these savings directly on to you. For family histories and memoirs that are expected to sell under 300 copies, a small author's investment of $99 is required to cover direct set-up costs. Your book will be available for public purchase on Amazon.com for the price you select. Or, you may purchase copies from Shoppe Foreman Publishing for your own sales and distribution for only a few dollars per copy, depending on the number of pages in the book. We will also assist you in developing a Marketing Plan for your book. Larry is currently a
member of the International Society of Family History Writers and Editors,
Oklahoma Writers
Federation, and Red
Dirt Writers Society.
